Canadian government officials have good news for Volvo EX60 buyers who are still waiting for the delivery of their electric SUV.

The EV gets better range than what Volvo advertised.

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) published the official certified estimated range for the electric range for the all-new 2027 EX60.

Models with 20- and 21-inch wheels get up to 531 kilometres of estimated range on a full charge, according to NRCan. That’s better than Volvo’s estimate of 514 kilometres.

Models with the larger 22-inch wheels get a range of 502 kilometres.

The 2027 Volvo EX60 with the standard P10 powertrain with all-wheel drive features a dual-motor electric drivetrain with 503 hp and a 95-kWh battery pack.

Zero to 100 km/h reportedly arrives in 4.6 seconds.

Canadian prices

The 2027 EX60 is available in two trims at launch in Canada. Other versions are expected to become available later.

Starting Canadian prices are as follows:

• EX60 Plus – $81,419 (MSRP of $77,500 plus fees and levies)
• EX60 Ultra – $87,919 (MSRP of $84,000 plus fees and levies)
