Mazda Canada’s cool discount offer on its convertibles is back for 2026.
The automaker had offered a discount on the MX-5 soft-top and MX-5 RF hard-top convertibles for much of 2025 and the same discount offer has returned for 2026.
As of May 1, the Mazda Canada website is showing a $3,000 discount on the 2026 model year of the convertible, still often referred to as the Miata.
The website doesn’t indicate how long the discount is available for. Last year, the offer had been available right through to the end of the 2025 model year.
What’s the soft-top discounted price?
The soft-top MX-5 is Canada’s cheapest convertible.
It has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $35,700, which with fees and levies would raise the starting price to about $39,292.
Thanks to the discount, the MX-5 could be had for as little as $36,292, according to the Mazda Canada online configurator.

What’s the hard-top discounted price?
The hard-top MX-5 RF is slightly more expensive with an MSRP of $42,700. Additional fees and levies would normally raise the starting price to about $46,092.
The discounted starting price comes to $43,092, according to the online configurator.
Keep in mind, fees, levies and selling price may vary by location.
