Mazda Canada donates $3.4M to community programs since 2021

The company’s Mazda Legends program supports local charities and grassroots programs across the country.

Mazda Canada dealers have contributed more than $3.4 million to charities through the company’s Mazda Legends program since 2021, the automaker said.

The donations supports local charities and grassroots programs across the country.

Mazda Canada said its retailers are encouraged to consider initiatives focused on youth, education and well-being while also being flexible to enable contributions to causes that are meaningful in their communities.

“At Mazda, our responsibility to the communities we serve goes beyond any single initiative,” Mazda Canada president and CEO Amy Fleming said in a news release. “Mazda Legends empowers our retailers to invest directly in local causes they know and trust, helping ensure our charitable contributions deliver meaningful, lasting impact.”

Mazda Canada said it is committed to strengthening communities. The automaker also has a broader focus on access to education with partnerships with Pathways to Education and Indspire.
