Bentley Motors has revealed the name of an all-new vehicle that will be unveiled later this year.
The Bentley Torcal will be revealed in London, U.K., on Sept. 23.
The all-new SUV will be the automaker’s fourth vehicle model in its lineup, joining the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga.
Bentley hasn’t offered much detail about the all-new model, saying more information will be revealed ahead of the full unveiling. However, in late-2024, Bentley said it is working on what it calls a “luxury urban” electric SUV, signifying the automaker’s entry into the compact electric SUV class.

The Torcal takes its name from a natural landmark, El Torcal de Antequera in Andalusia, Spain. The limestone landscape of stacked rock formations, cliffs and labyrinths was shaped by nature over millions of years and continues to evolve.
The word Torcal is also derived from the Latin “torquere,” which means twist and is the root for the modern word “torque.”
Bentley said the intention of the name is to imply the vehicle’s effortless progression.
“For 107 years, Bentleys have been the most incredibly complete cars – effortless performance, outstanding comfort, exquisite British handcraftsmanship using the best natural materials and a soundtrack with soul. Our new Torcal sets extraordinary benchmarks in every area that matters, and may just be the most considered car in our history,” Bentley chairman and CEO Frank-Steffen Walliser said in a news release.
