Maserati has revealed a trio of refreshed vehicle models, featuring updated designs, more powerful engines and increased range on the Folgore electric versions.
The automaker revealed a new Grecale SUV, GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible.
The GranTurismo and GranCabrio also get a more refined interior with this update.
“With the new Trident range, we are strengthening the distinctive quality that has always defined us: Italian Gran Turismo, where design, elegance, performance and masterful craftsmanship come together in a balance of elegance that is never ostentatious, yet always performance oriented,” said Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo CEO and Maserati COO, in a news release.

New GranTurismo and GranCabrio details
The updated coupe and convertible get a more aggressive front end, with design language that debuted with the GT2 Stradale and can be seen in the automaker’s supercar, the MCPura.
The revised front end includes reshaped air intakes, an external air curtain, a central splitter and more.
The rear lights get new clear lenses.

Powertrain choices
Both cars are available with three powertrain choices.
The standard powertrain utilizes a twin-turbo V6 engine with 482 hp. That gives the GranTurismo and GranCabrio zero to 100 km/h sprint times of 3.9 seconds and top speeds of 302 km/h.
Moving up to the Trofeo model gives the cars a more powerful twin-turbo V6 with 582 hp, that’s an increase of about 40 hp over the previous version.
That gives the coupe a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h, while the convertible manages the sprint in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 316 km/h.
Lastly, the cars are available in the electric Folgore versions, which have a powertrain with 751 hp. This propels the GranTurismo Folgore from zero to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and gives it a top speed of 325 km/h, while the convertible sprints in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 290 km/h.
The Folgore models come with a 92.5-kWh capacity battery. The battery pack’s T-bone shape helps keep the cars’ height down to just 1,353 millimetres.

The electric powertrain has a standard AWD Disconnect feature that can physically disengage the front half-shafts, sending power to the rear axle only in 500 milliseconds, helping improve range. On the WLTP test cycle, that gives the GranTurismo Folgore a range of more than 540 kilometres. That should translate to about 462 kilometres by EPA/NRCan test standards observed in North America.
Buyers can opt for new Tridente wheels that widen the track by 10 millimetres, which improves stability and precision, the automaker said.

New Grecale details
The Grecale is Maserati’s D segment SUV (midsize). It debuted in early 2022 and launched for the 2023 model year.
Like the GranTurismo and GranCabrio, the Grecale gets a revised front end with a more pronounced lower front fascia.
The redesign gives it a wider, lower appearance.

Grecale powertrain choices
The updated SUV also gets three powertrain choices.
The base and Modena models get a V6 engine with 385 hp, which gives them a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 5.1 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h.
The Trofeo model gets a V6 with 523 hp, giving it a zero to 100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 285 km/h.
The electric Folgore model gets a 542-hp power output, giving it a zero to 100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 220 km/h.
The Folgore model gets a WLTP-rated estmated range of up to 580 kilometres (around 497 kilometres by EPA standards). The range is increased thanks to aerodynamic improvements, updated energy management software and more efficient tires.
Other markets have other engine options as well.
