The made-in-Canada Dodge Charger has made its first European appearance ahead of its market launch there.
The automaker, through importer KW Automotive, brought the latest Charger to the MYLE Festival in Munich, Germany, where it was showcased June 12 to 14. The festival pairs a showcase of high-end vehicles with a musical and lifestyle show.
“Charger has always stood for performance and bold self-expression,” said Fabio Catone, head of brand for Dodge in Europe, in a news release. “Its first public appearance in Europe at MYLE Festival marks the start of a new chapter – one that brings this iconic spirit into the spotlight, reimagined for a new era but unmistakably Dodge.”
The Dodge Charger is made at Stellantis’ assembly plant in Windsor, Ont. It is the only facility that produces the muscle car that is available in two- and four-door varieties.
The 2027 Charger is available with an inline six-cylinder engine, called the SIXPACK, which is available with two power outputs, with the R/T getting 420 hp and the Scat Pack getting 550 hp.
There is also the electric Charger Daytona car, which in Europe will be available in R/T and Scat Pack versions as well, offering outputs of 536 hp and 670 hp.
The cars in Europe will be available through an official importer, KW Automotive, and its official dealer network.
Pricing in Europe starts at 66,000 euros.
