Canada said goodbye to the Supra already, as reported by us in early October, but Toyota has another performance car available here with only two seats.
And no, we’re not talking about the GR86 – that sports coupe has a 2+2 layout for a total of four seats.
We’re talking about the 2026 Toyota GRMN Corolla.
Yes, the car has four doors but only two seats.

What is the GRMN Corolla?
The GRMN Corolla builds on the GR Corolla to offer an even more track-focused hot hatch.
Upgrades over the standard GR Corolla include more carbon fibre, more engine torque, more aero enhancements, more of everything really, except weight.
The car is about 30 kilograms lighter than the GR Corolla, coming in with a curb weight of 1,460 kilograms.
One of the weight reduction methods was to strip out the rear seats, essentially turning this four-door car into a two-seater.

The car is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre three-cylinder engine producing 300 hp and 302 lb.-ft. of torque (that’s an increase of 7 lb.-ft. over the GR Corolla).
The car has the GR-Four all-wheel-drive drivetrain and is exclusively available with a six-speed manual transmission.
It rides on 18-inch, 10-spoke, matte-bronze forged aluminum wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, which offer more grip than the rubber on the GR.
The car also has a host of interior and exterior design changes, plus various other performance enhancements compared to the GR Corolla.

Canadian price and availability
Anyone who wants one of these cars shouldn’t wait long to make the purchase. The 2026 GRMN Corolla is limited to only 730 cars globally.
As of this writing, the online configurator for the wild hot hatch remains open on the Toyota Canada website.
The starting Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the 2026 Toyota GRMN Corolla is $77,280. That’s an increase of about $27,000 compared to the standard GR Corolla. Once you include various fees and levies, the car has a starting price of $80,237 for the base Gravel version, which features the “Gravel” colour.
Buyers can also select the Zero Gravity-Matte version, which increases the price by $1,825, and gives the car a matte black colour called “Zero Gravity.”
