The official Canadian range of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe high-performance electric car has been revealed.
Natural Resources Canada posted the official estimated range figures for the all-new EV, which is launching for the 2027 model year.
NRCan posted range data for the top-rung GT 63 and mid-range GT 55 variants, while information for the entry-level GT 53 is yet to be announced. (We’ll update this story when we get GT 53 info.)
All three versions get their electrical juices from a battery with a capacity of 106 kW.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 55 and GT 63 4-Door Coupe models both have an estimated driving range of up to 515 kilometres, according to NRCan’s fuel consumption guide.
Energy consumption is rated at (city/highway/combined) 2.3/2.4/2.3 Le/100 km.

Powertrain differences
The GT 55 has a peak output of 805 hp (503-hp continuous output) and 1,328 lb.-ft. of torque, and a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 2.8 seconds. The boost duration, which allows for up to 805 hp of power, can go for up to 55 seconds.
The GT 63 has a peak output of 1,153 hp (711-hp continuous) and 1,475 lb.-ft. of torque, giving it a zero to 100 km/h time of 2.4 seconds. It has a boost duration of 63 seconds.
NRCan hasn’t yet posted the official range figure for the GT 53, but we can expect it to go longer on a single charge than its more powerful siblings.
The GT 55 and GT 63 are each powered by three-motor electric powertrains, while the GT 53 gets a dual-motor powertrain with a power output of 536 hp (362-hp continuous) and 590 lb.-ft. of torque with a boost duration of 53 seconds. It has the same battery capacity of 106 kW.
