Subaru sells three electric vehicles in Canada.

Two of them – Uncharted and Trailseeker – are all-new this year, having launched for the 2026 model year, while the third – Solterra – received a significant update for 2026.

All three are getting lower prices next year.

Subaru Canada announced on Aug. 6 that the priciest of its EVs, the Trailseeker, will see prices lowered by as much as $5,000.

This news follows earlier announcements that the Uncharted would see its prices fall by $2,000, and that the Solterra would see its price decrease by $4,500.

2027 Subaru Trailseeker prices

The new starting Canadian prices of the Subaru Trailseeker for the 2027 model year are as follows:

• Touring – $53,152 (MSRP of $49,995)
• Limited – $57,152 (MSRP of $53,995)
• Premier – $61,152 (MSRP of $57,995)

The prices include the MSRP plus estimated dealer fees and levies. Fees, levies and selling price may vary by location.

The biggest price drop is on the entry-level Touring model, which gets $5,000 cheaper, while the Limited sees its price lowered by $4,000 and the Premier by $3,000.

About the Trailseeker

Subaru’s EVs are based on electric vehicles from Toyota, with the Trailseeker being a twin of the Toyota bZ Woodland.

The Trailseeker is intended as an off-road capable electric SUV. It has 210 millimetres of ground clearance, symmetrical all-wheel drive with dual-function X-Mode with Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud Modes modes, Grip Control and Downhill Assist Control.

The dual-motor powertrain produces 375 hp.

A 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery gives the Trailseeker an estimated driving range of up to 446 kilometres on a full charge in ideal conditions.

The 2027 Trailseeker will be available in Canada in late 2026.
