Someone in Canada with a serious need for speed and exclusivity has picked up a truly unique vehicle, and it’s the first one of its kind in Canada.
Swedish automaker Koenigsegg announced on Instagram it has completed the first Canadian delivery of the Jesko hypercar. The company did not say who the buyer is.
“Canada’s first Jesko has officially landed and been delivered to its excited owner,” the May 30 Instagram post said.
The Koenigsegg Jesko is a limited-production hypercar powered by a 5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
When running on gasoline, the car produces 1,262 hp (1,280 PS), but the car’s true power figures are unlocked with a greener fuel. When running on E85 biofuel, the engine produces 1,578 hp (1,600 PS).
A nine-speed Koenigsegg Light Speed Transmission (LST) sends power to the rear wheels.
The car delivered to the Canadian buyer is finished in a clear carbon body with yellow striping and detailing.
The interior gets a black and yellow colourway.
“Bold, dramatic, and engineered without compromise. Unmistakably Koenigsegg,” the automaker finished in the Instagram post.
Koenigsegg Canada is a division of Grand Touring Automobiles.
