Ferrari has created another one-off car, created according to the wishes of its buyer.
The automaker revealed the HC25, which was created through Ferrari’s Special Projects program, offering customers a truly bespoke one-of-one experience.
The HC25 is the coming together of Ferrari’s past and its future.
The car, including its layout, chassis and engine, are based on the F8 Spider.
The F8 Spider is the company’s last open-top (convertible) car with a non-hybrid turbo V8 in a mid-rear-mounted layout.
The car’s styling, however, is more forward looking, taking on the design motifs of newer vehicle models.
“This one-off can be seen as an ideal bridge: on one hand concluding the story of the iconic mid-rear-engined V8 platform; on the other, projecting itself into the futuristic path Ferrari has taken with its flagship models, the Ferrari 12Cilindri and F80,” the company said in a news release.

Powertrain
The mid-engined car has a turbocharged 3.9-litre V8 engine producing 710 hp (720 cv) at 7,000 rpm and 568 lb.-ft. (770 Nm) of torque at 3,250 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox.
Performance
Ferrari provided some performance figures for the car.
Figures include:
- Maximum speed – 340 km/h
- Zero to 100 km/h – 2.9 seconds
- Zero to 200 km/h – 8.2 seconds

Ferrari’s Special Projects
Ferrari’s Special Projects program is intended to create unique, or one-off, cars, offering exclusivity and design based on the customer’s desires.
Each project starts with a client’s idea and is developed with a team of designers at the Ferrari Design Studio. Afterward, the blueprints are created before the car can be assembled.
Ferrari said each Special Projects car takes about two years to complete, with the client involved during the process.
