Ferrari created a car for a client who will be the only one who has one.

Ferrari’s Special Project steam created the CZ26.

The one-off car is based on the SF90 Stradale, retaining that car’s technical specification, but in an all-new body. You can see some of the shape of the SF90 Stradale in the CZ26, but just barely.

Design

The car keeps the SF90 Stradale’s supercar levels of performance with an all-new design.

Ferrari set out to give the car a distinctly horizontal design with a two-box silhouette.

The car’s composition flows from the front fascia to the rear end, Ferrari points out.

There’s a function full-width front grille that incorporates the car’s slim lights.

The car’s tail is short with a diffuser featuring a horizontal design, giving the CZ26 a wide look.

Ferrari said the car’s bodywork is intended to be clean with functional elements.

Various functional body parts, including the side air intakes, front end, rear diffuser, cantilevered light clusters and carbon-fibre elements are meant to emerge from the main vehicle surface.

Out back, the car has natural-finish titanium exhaust pipes.

The exterior has Argento Veloce colour, which Ferrari describes as a silver with a liquid-like effect that emphasizes the richness of the surfaces and the precision of the lines.

The car rides on wheels designed for the CZ26.

Interior

Black trim dominates the interior of the car.

Ferrari said the materials and shades were chosen to convey an idea of a technical and sporty car, but also refined.

Powertrain

Ferrari’s first-ever plug-in hybrid powertrain launched in the SF90 Stradale, and the one-of-one car maintains the powertrain.

This includes a twin-turbo 4-litre V8 engine paired with three electric motors.

Total system output is 986 hp (1,000 CV). Supplying the motors energy is a 7.9-kWh capacity battery.

Performance specs

Ferrari said the CZ26 is capable of the following performance numbers:

  • Maximum speed – 328 km/h
  • Zero to 100 km/h – 2.5 seconds
  • Zero to 200 km/h – 6.7 seconds
  • 100 km/h to zero – less than 29.5 metres

The car can also travel up to 25 kilometres on electric power alone.
