Jeep has unveiled an all-new Jeep Avenger, a small SUV sold in Europe that is available in a variety of powertrain choices.
The small Jeep may not be coming to Canada, but its new grille likely will.
The automaker said it enhanced the traditional seven-slot Jeep grille on the new Avenger by adding LED retroillumination.

This allows the grille to light up and makes it recognizable at night, thanks to the seven-slot light-up design.
On the new Avenger, the light-up feature comes standard on the top trim of the small SUV.
The automaker called the system an evolution of Jeep’s legendary seven-slot grilles, “designed to light up every adventure and make compact freedom shine.”
We can expect the new grille design to start appearing on other future Jeep models, including those sold in Canada.

More about the new Avenger
Europeans will have multiple powertrain choices when shopping for the new Avenger.
The SUV comes in gasoline, hybrid, 4xe and fully electric varieties.
New for the latest model is a Turbo 100 powertrain offering a three-cylinder engine with 101 hp and a six-speed manual transmission.
The Avenger is also available with a 110-hp e-Hybrid, a 145-hp 4xe version that gives the Avenger all-wheel drive thanks to an electrified dual-clutch transmission and an electric motor to power the rear wheels, and a battery-electric vehicle version with a fully electric powertrain with 156 hp.
The Avenger was designed and is assembled in Europe.
