The Ford Mustang Mach-E has become cheaper to buy for the 2026 model year.

This comes after Ford Canada lowered the electric SUV’s price in 2025 from the previous year. In 2025, the automaker lowered the starting price by $2,000.

For 2026, the starting price was lowered by $6,000.

The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E in Select trim has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $46,995. Various fees and levies will bring the price to just below $50,000, making it eligible for Canada’s new $5,000 rebate for electric vehicles.

The base model features 73-kWh usable battery capacity and rear-wheel drive.

It has 264 hp and an estimated driving range of 415 kilometres.

Standard features include BlueCruise hands-free highway driving availability (subscription required), a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster and 15.5-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, phone as a key, 360-degree camera with split view and 19-inch aluminum wheels with high gloss black-painted rockets.

The frunk is now a $645 option, so if you need that, you’re still up more than $5,000 on the deal compared to 2025.

Regional offers

It may help to look for regional offers on the 2026 Mustang Mach-E.

In my area, as of March 3, the automaker is offering a $4,000 discount on 2026 Mach-Es.

With that discount, you could move up to the all-wheel-drive version (up $2,000) or the Premium trim with an estimated 515-kilometre range (up $4,000) and still come in below that sweet $50,000 mark.

You can build your 2026 Mustang Mach-E on Ford Canada website.
