
Ranking your favourite Batmobile is highly subjective.
Do you like the Dodge Charger-style Batmobile that’s driven by Robert Pattinson in “The Batman” film, or the Lamborghini-meets-Hummer Tumbler driven by Christian Bale in “The Dark Knight Trilogy,” or a more traditional long-hooded Batmobile?
Choosing your favouite comes down to personal preference, which is likely influenced by what you grew up with.
Yet, there’s no question that the Batmobiles that appeared in Tim Burton’s first two Batman movies are iconic.
The cars in 1989’s “Batman” and 1992’s “Batman Returns” are largely the same with slight, almost-imperceptible differences. Both feature the iconic 1930s-meet-Chevy-Corvette shape that may be closest to what the caped crusader drives in the comic books. And in the humble opinion of this scribe, Tim Burton’s first two Batmobiles are peak Batman rides.
The second car, from “Batman Returns,” has the added benefit of playing an integral role in an iconic scene in the film, when the Penguin remotely takes control of the Batmobile with Batman trapped inside.
Now, you can buy your very own Batmobile from the “Batman Returns” film in Lego form.

The Lego Group and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products have launched the Lego DC Batman: Batman Returns Batmobile set and it went on sale to the general public Sept. 4.
The set is not cheap, retailing for $319.99 in Canada.
This Batmobile is intended as a display set, instead of a typical play set, and it’s a big one.
The set has 2,269 pieces and the car measures 45 centimetres long, 17 centimetres wide and 10 centimetres tall.

Batman and Easter eggs included
The set comes with its own and exclusive Michael Keaton-looking Batman minifigure.
Lego also included six hidden elements, or Easter eggs, throughout the set, such as Penguin’s tracking device as well as other details from the films.
The car itself is comprised of three main elements, and at the push of a button the Batmobile can transform into the Batmissile, which separates the middle piece of the set from the two sides.
