Hyundai Motor Company is planning an aggressive push to increase global sales by expanding its vehicle lineup.
The automaker said it will launch or refresh more than 100 vehicle models by 2030, including 58 launches in North America. Some of these launches will include entries into new vehicle segments.
The automaker laid out its plans during its 2026 CEO Investor Day.
Below are some highlights of the plans.

New EREV powertrains
Hyundai has a multitude of vehicles that offer internal combustion engine, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric powertrains.
The company is also planning to introduce new extended range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrains. EREVs are like plug-in hybrids except with a greater focus on being electric while an on-board engine can extend range.
The automaker plans to launch the Hyundai Santa Fe EREV in the first half of 2027. The company is targeting a total driving range of more than 965 kilometres on a full charge and full tank of gas.
The new Santa Fe EREV will be assembled in Alabama.
The company will also introduce an EREV SUV in its Genesis luxury brand, which will also launch in early 2027. This model is targeting a total range of more than 1,030 kilometres.
More N performance sales
Hyundai is planning to increase the vehicle offerings from its N high-performance division and is targeting 100,000 annual N sales by 2030.
Production expansion plans
Hyundai said it will increase global production capacity by 1.27 million units by 2030.
This includes an additional capacity of 500,000 vehicles in North America.
More hybrids planned
Hyundai plans to offer more than 10 hybrid vehicle models in North America by 2030, with the expectation that hybrids will make up half of all sales.

Genesis primed to grow
Genesis will get that new EREV SUV, but that’s not the only new vehicle planned for the luxury brand.
The company said the all-new GV90 will serve as the company’s flagship vehicle.
Genesis will also get its first vehicle with a hybrid powertrain, the GV80 Hybrid.
Globally, the Genesis brand plans to have 270 retail locations, a 50 per cent increase compared to today.
Genesis has existed as a standalone brand for a decade.
Strategic partnerships planned
Hyundai also plans to increase its strategic partnerships with other brands.
Some of these partnerships include Waymo to offer robotaxi vehicles, Amazon for a variety of efforts, including vehicle sales, Alexa Built-in rollout, cloud and AI capabilities and more, and TVS Motor Company to get into the electric three-wheeler segment.
