Lucid already sells an incredibly quick and performance-focused car in the Air Sapphire electric sedan.
Now the company is giving the Sapphire treatment to its midsize three-row SUV, though without the Sapphire name.
The automaker revealed the Gravity GT-S.
The GT-S’s electric powertrain provides the electric SUV with 1,070 hp, making it capable of sprinting from zero to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds.
And yes, the vehicle has seating for seven.
The sad part is that Canadians can’t have this performance SUV. Lucid said the Gravity GT-S will be available exclusively in the United States with a starting price of $125,900 (U.S.).

More than just huge power
Lucid set out to give the SUV more than just power.
The Gravity GT-S comes standard with the company’s Dynamic Handling Package.
This package gives the GT-S enhanced agility, stability and ride comfort. It features independent rear-wheel steering and an adaptive three-chamber air suspension that lowers the vehicle at speed.
“With Lucid Gravity GT-S, we’ve created a more expressive and exhilarating interpretation of the Gravity SUV,” said Derek Jenkins, chief creative officer at Lucid, in a news release. “It combines extraordinary performance with the comfort, space, and versatility that define Gravity, delivering an exceptional experience for our customers that is uniquely Lucid.”
