Toyota Canada is helping support wildfire relief efforts across the country with a donation the the Canadian Red Cross.
Toyota Canada, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada and Toyota Financial Services have donated $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Canadian Wildfire Fund.
The fund is focused on providing immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts. The organization provides deliver support to the people and communities affected by wildfires across the country.
“The thoughts of the entire Toyota family are with the people in communities across Canada who are being impacted by wildfires,” said Cyril Dimitris, president and CEO of Toyota Canada, in a news release. “We’re proud to support the Canadian Red Cross as it works to provide vital assistance to those affected today, while also helping communities prepare for and recover from future wildfire events.”
Canadians can offer support as well through donations to the Canadian Red Cross.
