The 2026 Volvo EX30 electric SUV and its more rugged twin the EX30 Cross Country have become cheaper in Canada after the automaker quietly lowered their price.
Volvo Cars Canada lowered the starting manufacturer’s suggested retail prices of both with the EX30 losing nearly $6,000 and the EX30 Cross Country shedding more than $10,000 of their previous starting sticker prices.
Some purchases may also qualify for Canada’s Electric Vehicle Affordability Program, which offers a rebate of up to $5,000 for the purchase or lease of eligible EVs.
New EX30 price
The EX30 now has a starting MSRP of $44,000. The previous starting MSRP was $49,950.
Once fees and levies are factored in, the newly priced EX30 in base Core trim with a single-motor rear-wheel-drive powertrain comes to a starting price of $47,919.
Moving up to the mid-range Plus trim adds $1,000 to the price tag and the top-of-the-line Ultra is another $1,000 more.
The Plus and Ultra grades are also available with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, which adds an additional $3,000 to the price tag.
The single-motor versions get a powertrain with 268 hp and an estimated driving range of 420 kilometres.
The twin-motor versions get 422 hp and an estimated driving range of 407 kilometres.
