
The Canadian price of the BMW iX3 has been revealed.
The compact electric SUV is the first vehicle from BMW’s Neue Klasse (new class) of vehicles. In Canada, it’s launching for the 2027 model year.
The 2027 BMW iX3 has a starting Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $75,900. With fees and levies, the starting price comes to approximately $79,592.
Driving range revealed
BMW Canada also announced the estimated driving range for the newly launched EV.
The SUV has an NRCan-certified range of 698 kilometres on a full charge.
That exceeds the initial estimate of a 650-kilometre driving range.
Configurator partly open
The online configurator for the SUV is partly open on the BMW Canada website. Potential buyers can pick through various options, but the configurator doesn’t yet include prices.
BMW Canada said the vehicle will go on sale in Canada in the fall of 2026.
Canadians can now place their reservations through a dealer or through the automaker’s Canadian website.

About the iX3
The all-new iX3 is built on BMW’s Neue Klasse architecture, which offers greater efficiency and performance than previous BMW EVs as well as intelligent connectivity.
For 2027, the iX3 is available with the 50 xDrive powertrain in Canada.
This model features an all-wheel-drive powertrain with 463 hp and 476 lb.-ft. of torque. Zero to 100 km/h is reported in 4.9 seconds.
The SUV has a battery capacity of 111.2 kWh, and a maximum DC charging rate of 400 kW. BMW estimates under ideal DC fast-charging conditions the iX3 can recharge from 10 to 80 per cent of battery charge in 21 minutes. At home Level 2 charging maxes out at 15.4 kW, which is among the highest rates available on any EV available in Canada today.
