
Mazda Canada has announced 2026 prices for its two largest SUVs, the CX-70 and CX-90.
The pair are mechanical twins but the CX-70 seats five while the CX-90 has three rows of seating for up to eight occupants.
Both are available with mild hybrid (MHEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains.
For 2026, the CX-70 PHEV is gaining three new trims, including a new top-of-the-line version, while the CX-90 PHEV is gaining a similar top-of-the-line model.
The CX-70 has a higher starting price, with a base manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $49,750 compared to the CX-90’s $47,100, but the CX-90 tops out at a higher price.
CX-70 and CX-90 powertrains
The CX-70 and CX-90 share powertrain options.
The base mild-hybrid powertrain consists of an e-Skyactiv G 3.3-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with 48-volt mild-hybrid support for improved efficiency. The system produces 280 hp and 332 lb.-ft. of torque.
The mild-hybrid GT-P and Signature models get a more powerful e-Skyactiv G 3.3-litre turbo engine. When using premium 91 octane fuel, it produces 340 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque, or 319 hp on 87 octane.
The PHEV powertrain pairs a 2.5-litre e-Skyactiv engine with a plug-in hybrid system 323 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque.
The CX-70 PHEV can travel up to 51 kilometres on electric power alone, while the CX-90 PHEV can do 42 kilometres.

Mazda CX-70
The CX-70 PHEV is gaining three new trims: GS SC, GS-L SC, and Signature.
The GS SC is a new entry-level model on the PHEV and the GS-L SC is one up from that, while the Signature is the new top-of-the-line version.
The Signature features Windsor tan Nappa leather upholstery, Grand Luxe Suede dashboard and door panels, Dark Arbor accents, two-tone steering wheel, advanced driver assistance features such as Emergency Lane Keeping with Head-On Avoidance Assist, Smart Brake Support Front Crossing, Turning Across Path, Pedestrian Detection (rear), 360 View Monitor with See-Through View, Driver Personalization System and 150-watt AC power.
CX-70 Canadian pricing
The starting MSRPs on the 2026 Mazda CX-70 are as follows:
- GS-L MHEV – $49,750
- GT MHEV – $54,350
- GT-P MHEV – $58,300
- Signature MHEV – $62,300
- GS SC PHEV – $52,750
- GS-L SC PHEV – $56,750
- GT PHEV – $61,350
- Signature PHEV – $68,300

Mazda CX-90
For 2025, the CX-90 gains new in-vehicle technology, including the addition of Alexa voice commands, which is standard on all versions. The Signature trim is also new on the PHEV model.
The PHEV Signature model includes features such as body-colour wheel arch mouldings, bright detailing, 21-inch machined-finish alloy wheels, automatic power-folding, auto-dimming side mirrors with position memory, signature LED headlights and taillights with an adaptive front-lighting system.
On the inside, the PHEV Signature features Nappa leather seating in black or pure white and premium interior trim accents, second-row captain’s chairs with ventilation, heated, power-adjustable steering wheel, and the Driver Personalization System, which uses facial recognition to automatically adjust the driver’s seat, steering wheel, and mirrors for a perfectly tailored driving position.
The Signature also gets Mazda’s most comprehensive i-Activsense safety suite, which includes Smart Brake Support Front Crossing, Emergency Lane Keeping with Head-on traffic avoidance assist, Secondary Collision Reduction, Turn-Across Traffic, and 360 View Monitor with See-Through View and Trailer Hitch View.
CX-90 Canadian pricing
The starting MSRPs for the 2026 Mazda CX-90 are as follows:

- GS-L MHEV – $51,100
