Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada and its dealer network have wrapped up their 2026 Driving to End Hunger Campaign with a large donation to support food security efforts.

Mitsubishi Canada and all 99 of its dealerships in the effort, the company’s sixth year doing so.

They donated $340,000 and 2,800 kilograms of food to Food Banks Canada and to local food banks across the country.

Employees from Mitsubishi’s Canadian head office and parts distribution centre in Mississauga also did some food bank volunteer work.

Over the six years, Mitsubishi Canada donated more than $1 million and more than 10,000 kilograms to national and local organizations fighting food insecurity.

“Driving to End Hunger continues to show what’s possible when our network comes together to support Canadians,” said Kenichi Kawaji, president and CEO of Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, in a news release.

“Once again this year, every Mitsubishi Motors dealer across the country participated in the campaign. That continued commitment from our dealers, employees and customers is making a meaningful difference in communities from coast to coast.”
