Canadians looking for Chevrolet’s newly launched 2027 Corvette Grand Sport can now pick their colours and options.
The online configurator for the sports car has opened on the Chevrolet Canada website.
The Grand Sport is a bridge model between the base Stingray model of the Corvette and the sportier Z06 version.
The price cuts down the middle of those two models almost perfectly, too.
2027 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport prices
Like all other ‘Vette models, the Grand Sport version is available in coupe and convertible body styles.
Both can be had in 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trim levels, which offer a different level of equipment.
The base model of the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport coupe has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $112,749. Once estimated fees, levies and luxury tax are added, the starting price comes to around $120,032.
That’s about halfway between the 2027 Stingray’s 95,692 starting price and the Z06’s $174,876, inclusive of fees, levies and luxury tax, though closer to the Stingray.
The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport convertible has a starting MSRP of $121,749, which with fees, levies and luxury tax comes to $130,832.

What is the Grand Sport?
The Grand Sport has historically been the mid-performance model. In the contemporary C8 generation, the 2027 Grand Sport slots in between the base Stingray model and the more performance-oriented Z06 model.
It’s powered by the Stingray’s base engine but has some of the chassis setup and other performance-enhancing additions of the Z06, including the Z06’s wide-body design.
The base engine, powering both the Stingray and Grand Sport, is also new in 2027.
The naturally aspirated 6.7-litre V8 engine produces 535 hp and 520 lb.-ft. of torque.
The new engine replaces a 6.2-litre V8 that produced 490 hp (495 hp with the Z51 Performance Package) in the 2026 Stingray.

Grand Sport X price still unknown
Chevrolet Canada has not yet opened the configurator for the Grand Sport X.
The Grand Sport X builds on the Grand Sport, but a plug-in hybrid system enhances the powertrain.
Power is upped to 721 hp thanks to front axle electric motor, which gets its mojo from a compact battery pack.
The automaker said the battery is centred in the car to help maintain the Corvette’s agility.
The front e-motor gives the car near-instant access to 145 lb.-ft. of torque, GM said. It also improves the car’s corner-exit traction thanks to the addition of all-wheel drive.
Drivers can also utilize the powertrain’s Stealth and Shuttle modes for electric-only driving.
The Grand Sport X comes standard with carbon-ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tires. The Performance Package replaces the rubber with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Options
The Grand Sport has a few performance-enhancing options available.
The Z52 Sport Performance Package adds $4,375 to the vehicle’s price, the Carbon Flash-Painted Carbon Fibre Aero Package adds $11,245 and the Z52 Track Performance Package adds $25,870 to the price of the car.
Various other packages are also available, including unique colour customization options.
Full model details are available on the Chevrolet Canada website.
