The Italians, who are so good at creating unique special-edition vehicles, are not forgetting Canada.

Alfa Romeo announced that the recently revealed Edizione Luna Rossa special edition versions of the Giulia sport sedan and the Stelvio sport utility vehicle will both be available in Canada.

The Stelvio and Giulia Edizione Luna Rossa are expected to arrive in Canada during the second quarter of 2027.

The Edizione Luna Rossa models represent the top-of-the-line versions of both vehicles.

Alfa Romeo partnership with Luna Rossa

Alfa Romeo partnered with Luna Rossa for these unique models.

The Italian Luna Rossa team competes in the America’s Cup high-performance sailing competition.

The cars were revealed during the second preliminary regatta for the 2027 America’s Cup, which was held in Napoli, Italy, Sept. 24 to 27.

“Alfa Romeo and Luna Rossa are two authentic expressions of Italian excellence, united by the same ambition to bring to the world the constant ability to innovate and a quest for performance that accepts no compromises,” said Santo Ficili, CEO of Alfa Romeo and Maserati, in a news release.

“This partnership goes far beyond sport and is fueled by shared expertise, technology and vision, with the aim of continually pushing the limits.”

About the Giulia and Stelvio vehicles

The vehicles are available in which, black and Etna red colours and have a unique Luna Rossa logo on the carbon-fibre rear-view mirrors, red Alfa Romeo logos and unique details.

The special Giulia and Stelvio vehicles make extensive use of carbon fibre.

Carbon fibre can be found on the front badge and mirror caps, side skirts and spoiler.

The unique models also ride on dark wheels and have red brake calipers for a more pop. The Giulia gets 19-inch rollers and the Stelvio gets 21-inch units.

Unique elements extend to the inside

Both vehicles get a monochrome interior with accents.

There’s a Luna Rossa liner on the seats and the carbon inserts on the dashboard, which offers a contrasting element to the leather and recycled ECONYL fabric on the inside.

The dashboard and door panels get leather upholstery paired with carbon-fibre decorations on the dashboard, centre console and doors.

There’s a red Alfa Romeo logo on the steering wheel and Luna Rossa graphics on the dashboard.

Exclusive features

Standard features exclusive to these models include a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi system and an electronically controlled suspension.

The Giulia Edizione Luna Rossa gets a standard electric sunroof while the Stelvio has it as an option.

Both models are powered by a 2-litre direct-injection turbocharged engine with 280 hp and 306 lb.-ft. of torque. All-wheel drive is standard.
