The Canadian-made Dodge Charger Daytona electric car is not discontinued but it is no longer listed for sale on the Dodge Canada website.

The car was pulled off the website in early November.

There’s also the gasoline-burning Charger, but that version remains available in Canada; only the electric Charger Daytona has been removed off the website. Both versions are assembled at Stellantis’ assembly plant in Windsor, Ont.

What happened to the Charger Daytona?

So if the Dodge Charger Daytona is not discontinued, what happened to the EV?

Stellantis informed this publication that Canadian dealer inventory of the car is out, which is why it was removed off the website. The website is intended to help customers find vehicles on dealer lots that match their interest.

Once Canadian dealers have inventory of the Charger Daytona again, the car will be restored on the automaker’s Canadian website.

The company did not provide an expected timeline of the car’s return.

About the Dodge Charger Daytona

The current generation of the Charger launched for 2024 as the electric-only Daytona version and then the gasoline-burning SIXPACK version arrived for the 2026 model year.

The electric version could be had as a two-door car in two powertrain varieties, the R/T with 496 hp and the Scat Pack with 670 hp.

A four-door version was supposed to become available this year, but that has yet to happen as only the two-door version of the EV has been offered in Canada so far.

The fuel-burning Charger can be had as a two-door and four-door.
