Nissan Canada is offering a huge August discount on the 2026 Rogue Plug-in Hybrid.

The plug-in hybrid SUV is newly launched for the 2026 model year and is based on the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, which has been Canada’s top-selling plug-in hybrid three years running.

The Rogue Plug-in Hybrid is offered in a single fully loaded Platinum trim, and costs about $9,000 more than the entry-level version of its Mitsubishi twin.

The Rogue Plug-in Hybrid has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $58,698, compared to the Outlander PHEV base model’s starting MSRP of $49,998.

Nissan Canada is fixing that price disparity with its August discount.

The automaker is offering a $10,000 cash back discount this month. The offer ends Aug. 31, according to the Nissan Canada website.

Once various fees and levies and the discount are applied, the 2026 Nissan Rogue Plug-in Hybrid could be had for as little as $51,641, according to the Nissan Canada online configurator.

About the Rogue Plug-in Hybrid

The new Nissan is a compact SUV with three rows of seating, offering a 5+2 seat setup.

It features an electrified all-wheel-drive powertrain with a total system output of 248 hp and 322 lb.-ft. of torque and an estimated 61 kilometres of all-electric range. Total gas-electric range is reported up to 679 kilometres and city-highway combined fuel efficiency is reported at 3.7 Le/100 km.

The Platinum grade comes standard with a 12.3-inch driver display, nine-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 10-inch head-up display, nine-speaker Bose sound system, power panoramic sunroof, leather-appointed heated front and rear seats, two front and two rear USB charge ports, LED fog lights, leather-wrapped heated steering wheel and more.
