Hyundai Auto Canada is simplifying finding public charging stations and paying for charging to make life easier for people who drive its electric vehicles.

The company announced updates to its MyHyundai with Bluelink app, which now enable EV owners to find public charging stations and initiate and pay for charging sessions through the app.

The updated app’s features enable users to link to an existing ChargePoint account or create a new one, which gives them access to an integrated North American charging network. Charging stations within the ecosystems include providers such as Tesla, ChargePoint, Flo and Circuit Électrique.

“At Hyundai, we focus on making the EV ownership experience as seamless and intuitive as possible,” said Jeff Hewitt, director of connected digital experience at Hyundai Auto Canada, in a news release. “Integrating charging networks across North America directly within the MyHyundai app enables users to easily locate and initiate charging sessions wherever their adventure takes them. Ultimately, we are simplifying how customers interact with charging infrastructure while delivering greater convenience, flexibility and confidence on every journey.”

NACS adapter program

Besides the updated app features, Hyundai is also improving charger access for EV owners by offering a complimentary North American Charging Standard adapter program.

Eligible Hyundai EV owners who bought a vehicle before Dec. 31, 2025, equipped with a Combined Charging System (CCS) style of port, can receive a NACS adapter.

Vehicles included in the program include:

• 2019 to 2021 Ioniq EV
• 2019 to 2026 Kona Electric
• 2022 to 2025 Ioniq 5
• 2023 to 2025 Ioniq 6

To get the complimentary NACS adapter, while supplies last, owners are asked to complete the “EV Special Care” dealership service and enroll in the MyHyundai app to enable the new in-app charging features.
