The modern Mini brand is celebrating 25 years since it was revived by BMW.
Sure, BMW is a German automaker, but Mini is still very much a British brand with British DNA and the automaker is celebrating Mini’s British heritage with a limited-edition car waving the British flag.
The automaker launched the Mini Cooper Heritage Edition, which is based on the Mini Cooper S 3 Door.
Only 45 will be made available in Canada.
The car shown in these pictures is the model that will be sold in Europe. The automaker said the Canadian model will differ.
The car has a starting Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $44,990. That is a $5,000 premium over a standard 2026 Mini Cooper S 3 Door.

Key elements of Heritage Edition
The special-edition car will get the following key elements:
- White contrast roof with Union Jack graphic
- 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone wheels with edition-specific details on the wheel centre caps and valve stem caps
- Body colours choices: Chili Red II, Blazing Blue Metallic and Indigo Sunset Blue Metallic
- Interior with Union Jack design details on the steering wheel and floor mats

The automaker did not say when the car will be available in Canada.
