The Lexus LS, the company’s flagship sedan that helped launch the brand with its iconic champagne-glass commercial in 1989, has officially reached the end of the road in Canada.

The car was available in a single trim for 2026, as the Lexus LS 500 AWD Heritage Edition, and only five units were earmarked for Canada.

All LS models have now been sold in Canada, Lexus Canada confirmed to this blog, bringing the luxury brand’s original vehicle model to its end.

The LS has also been removed from the Lexus Canada website.

What was the LS Heritage Edition?

The five Heritage Edition cars came in just one colour, Ninety Noir, and with a Rioja Red interior.

The final car rode on 20-inch, split-20-spoke alloy wheels with a dark grey metallic finish and noise-reduction technology.

Interior features included items such as an etched Lexus LS Heritage Edition emblem on the centre console and headrests, a premium wood trim with a special laser black pattern, a panorama glass roof, a panoramic view monitor for enhanced visibility and safety, heated rear seats, a power lift-up buckle, and a Mark Levinson 23-speaker, 2,400-watt Reference Surround Sound system with QuantumLogic Immersion, as well as the Advanced Park feature.

The LS 500 is powered by a twin-turbo 3.4-litre V6 engine producing 416 hp and 442 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard.

The final 2026 Lexus LS AWD Heritage Edition cars were advertised with a price of $136,236, which included a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $126,800, plus fees, levies and luxury tax.
