Jeep is going heavy on military nostalgia for its eighth Wrangler model celebrating the company’s 85th anniversary.
The automaker revealed the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Sarge as well as the 2027 Jeep Gladiator Sarge.
The Wrangler is the eighth Twelve 4 Twelve model, which is debuting one 85th-anniversary Wrangler per month for a year.
Since Jeep, then called Willys, launched by making military off-road vehicles, the Sarge model celebrates that part of the brand’s history.
“The Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Sarge limited editions reflect how we honour our Jeep brand heritage, not by looking backward, but by carrying its values forward,” Jeep CEO Bob Borderdorf said in a news release. “It’s about purposeful design, authentic details and building vehicles meant to be relied on, whether navigating demanding terrain or everyday roads, while staying true to our roots and meeting the expectations of our customers.”
