Bentley has revealed an all-new Flying Spur and the company’s flagship saloon brings back a design element from the past.
The latest Flying Spur brings back the single front headlamp, something Bentley hasn’t used in its sedans since 1962.
The single headlamp also brings the luxury saloon’s design in line with the fourth-generation Continental GT family of vehicles.
The headlights are offered in two styles, depending on model, with some trims of the car getting a more jewel-like surround.
Observers will also notice the front radiator grille is now integrated with the front bumper.
At the rear, the car gets a new boot lid, lights, flowing lines and more.

Flying Spur S trim returns
The new Flying Spur also brings back the S model.
The S trim joins the Mulliner, Speed, Azure and standard models in the Flying Spur lineup.
The S is something in between the Speed and regular models in that it picks up some of the performance-focused chassis features of the Speed while running with the standard powertrain.
The base powertrain is Bentley’s High-Performance Hybrid, which features a turbocharged 4-litre V8 mated with an electric motor for a total of 671 hp and 686 lb.-ft. of torque.
That gives the Flying Spur S a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 308 km/h (191 mph).
The S also borrows chassis elements from the Speed and Mulliner models, including an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), a performance active chassis, active all-wheel drive, twin valve dampers, torque vectoring (front to rear and across the axles), 48-volt Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll system, and a new generation of ESC control software.
Bentley said this is the company’s most advanced and driver-focused AWD chassis setup, intended for maximum sporting appeal and ability.

Speed and Mulliner get more oomph
For drivers who don’t find 671 hp enough, there are the Speed and Mulliner grades. Theses get Bentley’s Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, which features a more powerful hybrid setup, increasing power to 771 hp and 738 lb.-ft. of torque.
The Flying Spur Speed improves zero to 100 km/h acceleration to 3.5 seconds.
The S and Azure models get new 22-inch wheels that are optionally available.

New option for audiophiles
The new Flying Spur gets a new high-end optional sound system that adds £25,000 ($46,480) to the car’s price tag.
The Naim for Mulliner sound system uses 21 speakers. The speakers are derived from Focal’s Grand Utopia speakers.
The mid-range and tweeter speakers feature “M” cones. These cones made from a single piece (without a core cover) combining three critical criteria for a speaker driver: rigidity, lightness and damping, Bentley said.
“This enables an extremely linear frequency response with a low distortion rate and better sound dispersion. This highly advanced cone delivers a breath-taking level of detail adding to the listening experience and captivating realism,” Bentley said in a news release.
The new Bentley Flying Spur is available to order now and deliveries are expected to begin near the end of 2026.
Full model details are available on Bentley’s website.
