The all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA, which was unveiled back in March 2025, has arrived in Canada.

The online configurator for the compact coupe-like electric sedan has opened on the Mercedes-Benz Canada website.

The entry-level model, the 2027 CLA 250+, has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $49,900. The MSRP excludes various fees and levies.

Moving up to the 2027 CLA 350 4MATIC raises the starting MSRP to $55,900.

CLA models with a hybrid powertrain will arrive later.

The latest CLA has grown over the outgoing version, now measuring 4,723 millimetres long, up from 4,688 millimetres.

Width, height and wheelbase also increased slightly.

This allows the car to gain slightly more driver and front passenger leg room and more headroom for all occupants.

Electric powertrains

The all-new CLA 250+ and CLA 350 ride on an 800-volt electric architecture, giving them a maximum DC fast-charging speed of 320 kW.

The CLA 250+ has a rear-wheel-drive powertrain with 268 hp and 247 lb.-ft. of torque. Zero to 60 mph reportedly arrives n 6.6 seconds.

The car is powered by an 85-kWh battery and uses a two-speed transmission, giving it an impressive EPA-estimated driving range of 601 kilometres.

The CLA 350 4MATIC picks up an all-wheel-drive powertrain, boosting power to 349 hp and 380 lb.-ft. of toque. Zero to 60 mph reportedly arrives in 4.9 seconds.

The estimated driving range for the CLA 350 4MATIC wasn’t posted. Look for it to see a slight decrease compared to the CLA 250+.

Tech-heavy interior

The car is debuting an in-house developed Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), making it what Mercedes-Benz says is the most intelligent vehicle it has made.

The new OS also includes the fourth-generation MBUX infotainment system with integrated artificial intelligence from Microsoft and Google.

The AI-enhanced MB.OS allows the car to connect to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud, which allows for over-the-air updates, driving assistance systems and keep the OS up to date, the automaker said.

An MBUX Superscreen, which gives the car three screens stretching across the dashboard, is included in the Pinnacle Trim Package, which also gives the car a head-up display, LED multi-beam lights and other features. The package adds $4,900 to the price tag.

If you’d like the head-up display without the Superscreen, it’s available as a stand-alone option at $1,600.

Full model details are available on the Mercedes-Benz Canada website.
