Cadillac has created an ultra-exclusive and more powerful version of its already bonkers V8-powered CT5-V Blackwing midsize sports sedan.
The automaker unveiled the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series, and this car is limited to just 26 units.
It celebrates Cadillac’s entry into Formula 1 racing.
Cadillac revealed the limited-edition car May 1, ahead of the May 3 Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, where it will have its first public showing.
The car will get its Canadian debut in Montréal during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend May 22 to 24.

About the F1 Collector Series
The headline-grabbing detail of the special edition car is the increase to the power output from the car’s supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine.
Power has been increased to 685 hp and 673 lb.-ft. of torque, up from the standard CT5-V Blackwing’s 668 hp and 659 lb.-ft. of torque.
The engine’s power was increased thanks to an upgraded supercharger, which was developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports. Each car also gets a CNC-machined supercharger cover, which was created by GM Motorsports.

All that power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
An automatic is not available on the F1 Collector Series car.
Each car also comes standard with the CT5-V Blackwing’s optional Precision Package, offering a more track-focus configuration.

Formula 1-inspired accents
The special edition cars are each finished in Midnight Stone Frost with a monochromatic interior and exterior colours.
They also receive accents inspired by Cadillac Formula 1 livery, including:
- Carbon Flash Metallic wheels
- Harbour Gray Metallic brake calipers
- Carbon fibre lower bodywork highlighted by a Switchblade Silver pinstripe
- Gloss black exterior badging and monochrome Cadillac crests complete the dominant, racing-inspired look

F1 and FIA logos
The cars also get endorsed F1 and FIA logos throughout the car, including:
- Stamped F1 door logo using a new automated craftsmanship “autocraft” stamping technique
- F1 and FIA logos on the spoiler
- FIA logos on the carbon-fiber rocker panels
- Cadillac Formula 1 logo on the sill plate
- CNC-machined F1 logo on the supercharger cover
- Laser-etched FIA logo on the supercharger cover
- Embossed F1 seat graphic
- 3D-printed F1 shifter medallion and FIA logo under the carbon-fibre centre console trim clear coat
- Builder’s badge with unique serialization for the Collector Series

Canadian availability
While the car is limited to just 26 units, the good news for Canadians is that it will be available here as well as in the United States.
Production will begin in mid-2026.
