Automobili Pininfarina has created another one-off version of its Battista electric hyper GT car, this one called the Battista Novantacinque.
The Novantacinque is a celebration of Pininfarina S.p.A.’s 95th anniversary.
For those not in the know, we’ll do a quick history lesson here.
Battista “Pinin” Farina (1893-1966) was an Italian automobile designer who founded the Carrozzeria Pinin Farina automotive design company in 1930, which today is known as Pininfarina S.p.A. The company is known for designing cars for Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Fiat, Maserati and others. The company was purchased in 2015 by Mahindra Group, which in 2018 launched Automobili Pininfarina GmbH, a luxury automotive brand that builds its own vehicles.

Now, Automobili Pininfarina created the Novantacinque, a singular commission that also marks the conclusion of Battista production at the end of this year.
The car is finished in a carbon-tinted Rosso Gloss colour, bespoke livery, including a gold pinstripe and Novantacinque written on the rear wing.
The car rides on Iconico precision polished colourless wheels with black channel matte detailing, and the brake calipers are black with brushed aluminum anodized accents.

The seats have a mix of black leather and black Alcantara with duotone stitching in black and gold, while the knee pads are also finished in black Alcantara and feature a “95” logo in gold embroidery.
The chassis plate and door plates get a unique design from other Battista models as well.
There’s exposed carbon satin on the inside with refined aluminum elements anodized in gold and black.
The Novantacinque also has a throwback to a bygone era and features exclusive rotary controls that Pininfarina says provide a tactile and visual striking interface.

The automaker didn’t say who this special one-off model is for.
“The Battista Novantacinque represents the pinnacle of bespoke luxury and performance. It is a tribute to Pininfarina’s past, present, and future – a timeless masterpiece created to honour 95 years of design excellence. It is only befitting that the Novantacinque is the final expression of the Battista line. With the window to secure a place in this rare chapter of automotive history drawing to a close, the Novantacinque stands as an icon to be treasured for generations,” said Automobili Pininfarina CEO Paolo Dellachà in a news release.

Battista cars have an electic powertrain with 1,900 hp and a reported zero to 100 kn/h acceleration of 1.86 seconds and zero to 200 km/h acceleration of 4.75 seconds.
Pininfarina will build a maximum of 150 Battista cars.
