Infiniti’s smaller three-row SUV is taking inspiration from the company’s flagship SUV.
The automaker updated the QX60 sport utility vehicle for the 2026 model year, and the family resemblance with the larger QX80 is obvious.
Outward design is just part of the story, as the QX60 is also gaining luxury and creature comfort features, some of which were introduced in the QX80.

Design
Let’s take a look at the design to start.
The QX60 gets a new front end with a large grille that gives the SUV more road presence. The lower bumper was redesigned to give the grille an appearance it’s floating.
The three-dimensional Infiniti emblem is now illuminated and the daylight running lights are now in smaller elements in a digital piano key style.
The doors and vehicle sides were restyled to make the SUV look longer.
The redesigned rear-end of the QX60 is meant to give the vehicle a lower, wider appearance.
The QX60 gets Infiniti Light Path on its Sensory and Autograph grades, a feature available on the larger QX80. This system projects wing-shaped light on the ground at the sides of the vehicle as you approach it.

Technology
The QX60 gets the company’s ProPilot Assist 2.1 hands-free driving technology, standard on the Autograph grade.
There’s also a new 3D Around View monitor with fixed views and moving object detection, standard on Luxe and higher grades. This system gives you a top-down view to get around tight spaces.
There’s also Invisible Hood View, giving the driver a view of what’s directly in front of the vehicle on the in-vehicle displays.
There are dual 12.3-inch displays, standard on all grades, with the centre console having Google built-in with always-updated Google Maps, and the ability to download apps via Google Play.
Google Assistant can also provide support through voice commands.

Audio
The QX60 now gets a Klipsch premium audio system.
Sport grades feature 16 speakers, including four one-inch titanium dome tweeters, a 12-channel amp with 600 watts and an eight-inch TriPower subwoofer.
Sensory and Autograph grades upgrade this with audio system with 20 speakers and a 24-channel amp.
The Sensory and Autograph grades also get Individual Audio technology, which was introduced on the QX80. This technology can isolate certain sounds, so that the driver will only hear certain audio elements, such as navigation directions, music or phone calls from their seat.
As an example, Infiniti said the system can allow the driver to make a phone call without interrupting the music listening experience of the passengers.

Luxury
The Autograph grade of the QX60 gets new kimono-inspired ripple stitching and perforation on semi-aniline seats.
The dashboard trim on the Autograph trim gets open pore wood with a laser-etched metal inlay.
Infiniti said the interior design is inspired by the Japanese concept of Shibui, which is described as elegance of simplicity.
The Pure, Luxe, and Sport grades get TailorFit seating. This material is 65 per cent recycled and is said to be more durable and softer than traditional imitation leather.
The Pure, Luxe, Sport and Sensory grades come standard with a second-row bench seating, offering seating for up to seven people, while the top-grade Autograph model gets second-row captain’s chairs, for a total seating capacity of six.

Sport grade
The Sport grade is new on the QX60. It is designed to have a more dynamic appearance and has a unique front fascia.
It rides on unique gloss black 20-inch wheels and has dark exterior accents, including a lower front bumper protector and an “S” badge on the liftgate.

Powertrain
The QX60 is fitted with Infiniti’s 2-litre VC-Turbo (variable compression turbo) engine producing 268 hp and 286 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Towing capacity is 6,000 pounds. The Sensory and Autograph grades get a tow hitch with a 7-pin connector and Trailer Sway Control software.
“The luxurious yet practical QX60 is a core part of the Infiniti lineup, and this refreshed 2026 model is a continuation of our product renaissance that will propel Infiniti toward its future vision,” said Tiago Castro, vice president, Infiniti Americas, in a news release. “The 2026 Infiniti QX60 enables drivers to embrace more of what they love. With a strikingly refreshed design that reflects bold style, innovative technologies that simplify life, and effortless functionality to accommodate friends, family, and beyond, it’s designed for a life well-lived.”

The redesigned 2026 Infiniti QX60 is expected at dealers in Canada this summer. Pricing will be announced closer to the launch date.
