The lowest priced electric vehicle in Canada is being offered at a heavily discounted price right now.

The discount is on last year’s model.

The 2024 Fiat 500e is being offered with a discount of $9,000, as of early April 2025, according to the automaker’s Canadian website.

The discount includes $4,000 in consumer cash, which is applied before taxes, and $4,425 in bonus cash, which is applied after taxes.

Once you apply the sales tax, the two discounts come out to a combined $9,000, which is even greater than the now-cancelled $5,000 federal government rebate for zero-emissions vehicles. Check the automaker’s website for terms and conditions.

With the discount, the car can be had at a starting price of $33,765, fees and levies included. With sales tax, that brings your purchase price to $38,155, if you live in Ontario.

The Fiat 500e is a small electric car with a driving range of up to 227 kilometres and an electric motor with 117 hp and 162 lb.-ft. of torque.

It comes with tech such as the Uconnect 5 NAV multimedia system and a 10.25-inch touchscreen and more.

The automaker did not say how long the discount is available for.

More information is available on the Fiat Canada website.
