Toyota Canada and its dealers announced a $300,000 donation to Food Banks Canada to help fight food insecurity in this country.

This is part of the company’s Toyota Cars For Good, a national partnership to support food security across Canada, which is now in its second year.

“Through Toyota Cars For Good, our dealers across Canada are helping turn everyday business into meaningful impact,” said Steve Pilkey, vice president, sales and marketing, Toyota Canada, in a news release.

“We’re proud to work in partnership with Food Banks Canada to help more people in Canada access the food they need to pursue their potential and purpose.”

Toyota Canada also launched a national food security awareness campaign.

A portion of proceeds from every Toyota vehicle sale in Canada contributes to the Toyota Cars For Good program.

Toyota Canada has donated more than $1 million to food banks across the country since 2020.
