Nissan’s all-electric Ariya crossover SUV is getting a refresh for the 2027 model year.
The EV debuted in Canada in 2023.
For 2027, it gets an updated front end, new wheels, new interior and exterior colour options as well as various new features.

Design evolution
The 2027 Ariya gets a new body colour front panel with a redesigned V signature element up front.
It rides on newly designed 19- and 20-inch wheels made of aluminum and resin.
Exterior colour options gain a new Plasma Green colour, giving the Ariya a new range of monotone and two-tone body colours.
The centre console gets a redesign as well, now offering up to 3.2 litres of storage space.

New technology
The redesigned centre console picks up the latest-gen 15W wireless phone charger.
Other technology updates include the latest generation of NissanConnect with Google built-in. This gives the Ariya an in-car route planner by Google Maps. Drivers can say: “Hey Google, navigate to (and name destination)” and the system will create a route with the most efficient charging spots along the way.
The vehicle also preconditions the battery as you approach the charging station to ensure you get the quickest charge you can.
The MyNissan Canada app lets you monitor battery level, manage charging sessions, adjust climate settings, monitor tire pressure and more.
Vehicle-to-Load now available
The 2027 Ariya has an AC J1772 charge connector, which allows for bidirectional Level 2 charging speeds of 7 kW, with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) available.
For Level 3 charging, the SUV has a new native North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port, which supports charge speeds up to 130 kW.
The MyNissan app also allows drivers to find charging stations, see real-time charger availability and pay for charging sessions at public chargers that are part of the Nissan Energy Charge Network.

Improved ride comfort
Nissan said the updated Ariya gets an improved ride for 2027. The automaker said the suspension tuning was updated for improved stability, reduced vibrations and a smoother ride.
The 2027 Ariya also features numerous advanced driver assistance and safety features.
Canadian availability
The Ariya is available with front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive powertrains.
Front-wheel-drive versions get 214 hp and 221 lb.-ft. of torque, with power supplied by a 66-kWh battery (63 kWh usable capacity).
Vehicles with the e-4ORCE all-wheel drive get an output of 389 hp and 442 lb.-ft. of torque, with a battery capacity of 91 kWh (87 kWh usable).
Range varies by trim.
The 2027 Ariya will arrive at Canadian Nissan dealers this fall. Pricing hasn’t been announced.
