The Mercedes-Benz C-Class, one of the company’s best-selling cars, is going electric.
The automaker teased the interior of the new compact electric sedan, which will get its full reveal on April 20.
The company said the all-new car will be the “best and sportiest” C-Class ever.
“With the all-new electric C-Class, we’ve raised everything customers love about this model to the next level. The result is a new benchmark for quality, craftsmanship and comfort. It is the most spacious and most intelligent C-Class ever,” said Ola Källenius, Mercedes-Benz Group AG board chair, in a news release.
The company said the interior of the new C-Class is a crafted sanctuary, and offers more space than before and features a high-quality feel and a cutting-edge digital experience.

The car gets a standard large panoramic glass roof, creating an even more spacious feeling inside.
Three standard shades will be on offer, including deep black, beech brown and macchiato beige. These can be complemented with trim finishes such as white open-pore natural fibre and open-pore fineline birch wood in grey or brown. Vegan interior upholstery certified by The Vegan Society will also be available.

Mercedes-Benz said the car will be available with an optional MBUX Hyperscreen and MBUX Superscreen. The hyperscreen is a pillar-to-pillar continuous screen while the superscreen is comprised of three screens under one piece of glass.
The car will be revealed in South Korea on April 20. The reveal will be livestreamed online.
