Multiple car companies are sweetening the deal on electric vehicles in Canada this month.
Below, we explore some of the biggest EV discounts available (at least $5,000 off regular price) through March 2026. There are discounts on 2025 and 2026 model year EVs. Some offers may be regional so check the automaker’s website or a local dealership to make sure the offer is available in your area.
We’re not including EV discounts from high-end brands on this list.
The prices listed in this article include the manufacturer’s suggested retail price plus estimated fees and levies. Fees, levies and selling price may vary by location.
Some of the offers below bring the vehicles’ starting prices to below $50,000, to help the qualify for Canada’s new $5,000 Electric Vehicle Affordability Program rebate. The rebate is available on vehicles with a final price no greater than $50,000, unless it’s assembled in Canada, then there’s no limit. The vehicle must be made in Canada or in a country with which Canada has a free-trade agreement with to qualify for the EVAP rebate.
