BMW Canada has opened the online configurator and reservation tool for the all-new 2026 iX3 on its website.

The compact SUV is the first model from BMW’s Neue Klasse of electric vehicles.

The configurator allows Canadians to personalize their iX3 and then place a reservation on the vehicle.

“The launch of the iX3 reservation tool and configurator brings us closer to delivering an exceptional electric driving experience tailored for Canadian drivers,” said Andrew Scott, president and CEO of BMW Group Canada, in a news release.

The online configurator is missing one key piece of information, however: the price.

Once a potential customer chooses their exterior and interior colours, upholstery, wheels and more, they’re given an option to place their reservation, but without price details.

About the iX3

The all-new iX3 is built on BMW’s Neue Klasse architecture, which offers greater efficiency and performance than previous BMW EVs as well as intelligent connectivity.

For 2026, the iX3 is available with the 50 xDrive powertrain in Canada.

This model features an all-wheel-drive powertrain with 463 hp and 476 lb.-ft. of torque. Zero to 100 km/h is reported in 4.9 seconds.

The SUV has a battery capacity of 111.2 kWh, and a maximum DC charging rate of 400 kW. BMW estimates under ideal DC fast-charging conditions the iX3 can recharge from 10 to 80 per cent of battery charge in 21 minutes. At home Level 2 charging maxes out at 15.4 kW, which is among the highest rates available on any EV available in Canada today.

BMW estimates a driving range of up to 650 kilometres on a single charge, although official test results are not available yet.

The online configurator is available on the BMW Canada website.
