The team behind Project Arrow, a showcase of Canadian automotive capability, will present another electric vehicle prototype at the Toronto auto show.
The Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA), with the Canadian International AutoShow, will present the global debut of the prototype called Project Arrow Borealis.
The unveiling will happen Feb. 12 during media day of the Toronto auto show.
What is Project Arrow?
Project Arrow is a Canadian concept vehicle. The APMA initiative is intended to showcase Canada’s automotive capability and supply chain, which are able to produce an electric vehicle with components from Canadian auto parts manufacturers.
Project Arrow Borealis is the second prototype in the series.

APMA will also unveil Project Arrow Vector. This prototype is described as a showcase of the evolution of the program’s working technology platform.
APMA said it demonstrates how Canada continues to refine vehicle design, manufacturing processes and advanced technologies.
“Together, the Project Arrow prototypes represent a national showcase of what is possible when Canadian ingenuity, collaboration, and industrial capability converge,” a news release from the auto show said.
APMA anticipates producing a commercially viable prototype by 2028. It said the vehicle would be fully buildable in Canada.
“This is an exciting milestone for Canadian automotive innovation,” APMA president Flavio Volpe said in a news release “Project Arrow continues to demonstrate how collaboration, engineering excellence, and advanced technology can come together to shape the future of mobility. We are proud to lead this initiative and look forward to the next stages of its evolution.”
The 2026 Canadian International AutoShow happens at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Feb. 13 to 22.
