BMW is sending off the Z4 roadster with a Final Edition model that will feature some exclusive content.
BMW did not say how many Z4 Final Edition cars would be available in Canada, except that it would be produced in “limited numbers” from February to April of 2026.
The 2026 Z4 Final Edition is available in a single configuration, but buyers have a choice of a six-speed manual or eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission.
The Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $99,900. The MSRP doesn’t include fees, levies or taxes.
The Toyota Supra, a mechanical twin of the BMW Z4, also has a Final Edition available for the 2026 model year and Toyota will sell just 25 of those in Canada.

What is the BMW Z4 Final Edition?
In the case of Bimmer, the Final Edition builds on the Z4 M40i, which features the larger of the two available engines for the roadster.
The car’s twin-turbo 3-litre inline-six engine produces 382 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque, and power is sent to the rear wheels.
The Z4 Final Edition gets exclusive exterior appearance features.
This includes an exclusive BMW Individual colour, a Frozen Black metallic paint. The car also gets high-gloss black trim on the mirror caps, kidney grille, lower air intake, air breathers and exhaust finishers.
The car also gets a black soft top and red brake calipers on standard M Sport brakes.
Wheel and tire sizes are staggered. Up front, the car gets 19-inch double-spoke two-colour 800M wheels fitted with 255/35 R19 rubber. At the rear, the car rides on 20-inch wheels with 285/30 R20 tires.

Special chassis tuning
Z4 Final Edition cars fitted with a six-speed manual transmission also get special chassis tuning. Changes include unique auxiliary springs at the front and rear axles and a reinforced anti-roll bar clamp at the front.
Additionally, the mapping for electronic control of the rear dampers and the software for the variable sport steering are reconfigured.
Lastly, the traction control and M Sport differential get unique control logic.

Interior enhancements
On the inside, occupants will find contrasting red stitching, which can be found around the instrument panel, centre console, door panels and M Sport seats. The seat upholstery is made of Vernasca leather and Alcantara. The seatbelts get an M tricolour trim.
The car’s floor mats feature red piping, and the door sill plates are inscribed with “Z4 FINAL EDITION.”
The Final Edition also gets the Premium Enhanced Package, which includes a Harman Kardon surround sound system, as well as the Z4’s full range of safety, comfort and convenience features.
