A year after launching an updated version of its flagship SUV, the QX80, Infiniti has dropped a new grade that gives the full-size luxury SUV a more dynamic appearance.

The Infiniti QX80 is gaining the Sport trim for 2026.

“A year after its dramatic introduction, the Infiniti QX80 continues to elevate the standard in luxury SUVs, thrilling Infiniti clients with bold design and technology, while propelling strong sales at Infiniti retailers,” said Tiago Castro, vice president, Infiniti Americas, in a news release. “We know that luxury drivers are looking to make a bold entrance wherever they go, so for 2026 we are dramatically amplifying QX80’s Artistry in Motion styling with a Sport grade offering a sleek, blacked-out appearance.”

Exterior

The QX80 Sport gets a new front grille and redesigned front bumper and rides on unique 22-inch wheels.

There are darkened elements on the exterior, including black trim, mirror caps, lower bumper finishes, roof rails and emblems.

The available exterior colours include Mineral Black, Grand Blue, Radiant White and Dynamic Metal. Radiant White and Dynamic Metal can be paired with a contrasting Black Obsidian roof.

Interior

On the inside, the QX80 Sport gets a Dusk Blue colour scheme, which includes dark matte chrome accents, graphite for the headliner and pillars, open pore wood trim around the instrument panel and on the doors, and black and blue seat inserts for all three rows of seating.

QX80 lineup

The Infiniti QX80 is loaded with tons of technology, including dual 14.3-inch displays, a head-up display, Google Built-in, 64-colour personalized ambient lighting, a Klipsch audio system and much more.

The SUV is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo engine with 450 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, and has a towing capacity of 8,500 pounds (3,855 kilograms) with proper equipment.

The 2026 Infiniti QX80 is available in the following trims in Canada: Luxe, Sport and Autograph.

The starting Canadian price per trim is as follows:

Luxe – $112,655 (MSRP of $106,955 plus fees and levies)
Sport – $127,055 (MSRP of $118,995)
Autograph – $139,055 (MSRP of $128,995)
