U.S.-based Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has added six more cars and SUVs to its list of vehicles that meet its safety testing standards in 2025.

The IIHS recognized the Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Sonata, Kia K4, Nissan Murano, Toyota bZ4X and Toyota Prius with the 2025 Top Safety Pick+ awards, its highest safety rating.

The new vehicles on the list were announced. June 10. That brings the entire 2025 list of Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick+ award recipients to 58 vehicles.

The latest accolades only apply to Hyundai Elantras built after October 2024, Sonatas built after November 2024, Kia K4s built after January 2025, and Toyota bZ4Xs built after December 2024.
