Subaru is offering a deep discount on last year’s models of its only electric vehicle in Canada.

Subaru Canada has a manufacturer’s rebate of $10,000 available on the 2024 model year of the Solterra, advertised on its website as of Feb. 15.

To sweeten the deal even further, there are lease and finance rates as low as 0.5 per cent on a 24-month term for the all-electric SUV. Check with the automaker for terms and conditions.

The 2024 Solterra had a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $56,495, which after fees and levies were included came to $59,170 for the base model.

After the discount is included, the starting price comes to $49,169.50 for the base model.

Next up, the Solterra with Luxury Package comes to a discounted starting price of $53,669.50.

And lastly, the top grade Solterra with Technology Package comes to a discounted starting price of $56,169.50.

All 2024 Subaru Solterra models feature a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, or as Subaru calls it the all-electric version of Subaru symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive.

Driving range is estimated up to 359 kilometres.
