The weak Canadian dollar will be hitting Rivian vehicle buyers where it hurts: their wallets.

Rivian announced via an email blast it will be raising Canadian prices this month, citing changes in the exchange rate between U.S. and Canada.

As of Feb. 10, the loonie sits at 70 cents against the U.S. greenback.

Rivian will raise prices on its R1S and R1T all-electric vehicles by up to $10,000 on Feb. 25, the email said.

Prospective buyers are advised to speak with a sales advisor to lock in a price before the changes go into effect.

The R1S three-row SUV has a current starting Canadian price of $109,900, while the R1T pickup truck has a starting price of $101,900.

More information on the vehicles is available on the Rivian website.
