Tim Hortons is bringing back its popular Roll Up To Win promotion.
The 2025 promotion will include something that the coffee chain hasn’t used since 2020, physical roll-up cups, which is how the game had been when the promotion was called Roll Up The Rim To Win. For 2025, there will be both physical rollable cups, while supplies last, plus digital rolls, which is how the contest has been played in recent years.
The promotion runs Feb. 24 to March 23.
So, what are the prizes?
There are millions of different prizes available to be won this year, from vouchers for free coffee, doughnuts and Timbits to more expensive but rarer prizes such as vacation packages, ATVs, side-by-side off-road vehicles and a whole lot more. And, of course, as in years past, customers have a chance to win a vehicle.

Volkswagen ID. Buzz
The 2025 Roll Up To Win promotion features seven 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz all-electric vehicles.
The particular model that’s available to be won is an ID. Buzz 1st Edition 4MOTION model, which has a prize value of $87,628, according to the contest’s fine print.
The 1st Edition 4MOTION model is a six-seat, three-row retro-style all-electric minivan. The second row features captain’s chairs.
It is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain producing 335 hp and has an estimated driving range of 372 kilometres. You can read more about it on VW’s Canadian website.
How Roll Up To Win is played?
Customers earn a digital roll for each eligible purchase of a select hot or cold beverage, breakfast sandwich or wrap, or lunch or dinner food item. Tims Rewards members get an extra digital roll if they bring their own reusable cup and purchase an eligible hot or cold drink.
Digital rolls are done on the Tims app. You’ll need to register an account to participate.
Cups, while supplies last, will also contain physical rolls, with prizes revealed under the rim.
