Lexus RZ 450e drops in starting price by $4,940 in 2025

The starting Canadian MSRP for the electric SUV is now $59,960, which after fees and levies are added works out to about $63,293.

Good news for automotive buyers looking for a luxury electric vehicle.

Lexus Canada has lowered the price of the RZ 450e electric SUV in 2025, and the discount is not courtesy of a new lesser trim; it’s an across-the-trim-lines price decrease for the vehicle. However, the price decrease is slightly less on the higher trims.

The 2025 RZ 450e Canadian prices are as follows:

Signature – $63,293 (MSRP of $59,960, MSRP drop of $4,940)
Luxury – $73,653 (MSRP of $70,320, MSRP drop of $3,830)
Executive – $82,353 (MSRP of $79,020, MSRP of $2,030)

The price is approximate as it combines the MSRP plus fees and levies. Fees and levies may vary by location. Tax is extra.

This is a remarkable vehicle that delivers everything our guests expect from a luxury SUV – with zero-emissions.”

The RZ features a 71.4-kWh battery mounted low in the platform for a low centre of gravity.

The SUV gets its motivation from electric motors front and rear, delivering 150 kW (201 hp) of power to the front wheels and 80 kW (107 hp) to the rear for a total system output of 308 hp and 320 lb.-ft. of torque.

Driving range is estimated up to 354 kilometres for models with 18-inch wheels and 315 kilometres for models with 20-inch wheels.

On the inside, there’s a 14-inch touchscreen multimedia interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a virtual assistant with voice commands for navigation, media, communication and other vehicle features. The interface can also be controlled from a smartphone via the Lexus app. There are also USB charging ports and a wireless charging dock inside.

All models are equipped with Lexus Safety System 3.0+, which includes a suite of safety features, as well as a blind spot monitor system with rear cross traffic alert, eight airbags, safe exit assist with digital latch, a rear seat reminder system and more.
