The next generation of the Dodge Charger is nearly here, expected to arrive at Canadian dealerships in the fourth-quarter of 2024.

There will be various versions of these muscle cars, including two-door and four-door variants, as well as electric vehicle varieties and the kinds that burn fossil fuels.

Here’s how much the first available cars will cost in Canada.

The two-door EVs will first be available in British Columbia and Quebec and then, as production ramps up, the cars will become available elsewhere in Canada. Those two provinces offer generous provincial EV rebates.

The Dodge Charger Daytona features a 400-volt dual-motor system, all-wheel drive, a mechanical limited slip differential and the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which emulates real V8 exhaust sounds.

The R/T model with the Stage 1 Upgrade pumps out 496 hp and 404 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Scat Pack with the Stage 2 upgrade has a total output of 670 hp and 627 lb.-ft. of torque. Dodge says the car will sprint from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and do the quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds.

The Track Package includes such things as red Brembo six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes, 20- by 11-inch aluminum front wheels with 305/35R20 all-season tires and rear 20- by 11.5-inch aluminum wheels with 325/35R20 all-season tires, gloss black rear spoiler and dual valve adaptive damping suspension.
